My Story
I’m Renee’ Chandler. I was born in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina to hard working parents. I have one younger sister.

I’ve always been a dreamer, a dreamer who explored new places, new worlds through the pages of books. It has carried me through my family moving all around the lower East Coast while I was growing up. My father’s job kept us moving so I always carried my ‘friends’ with me in the form of books.
​
Now as an adult I continue to be an avid reader, passing it along to my two grown sons and my very young granddaughter. While our genres vary vastly we are still exploring people, places and things.
​
I enjoy curling up with my two dogs: Sasha and Gracie, in our huge reclining chair and spending time deep in a new book. Currently, I am into books in the fantasy realm. I do, however, always seem to return to my roots in the romance genre. For now it’s better known as action/adventure romance whether it be in a fantasy world, a science fiction world, or in a city somewhere in this world, with or without a mystery involved.
When I began my writing I was influenced by writers SherriLyn Kenyon, Kresley Cole, Rebecca Brandewyne, and Nora Roberts. Now I am reading Sara J Maas, Rebecca Yarros, Nishu Tuli and Sara J Parker, and of course, I am still reading SherriLyn Kenyon. I immensely enjoy the worlds these writers create and the characters that the readers fall in love with. Readers becoming invested in every breath the characters take.

That is how I wish to write. I want to take readers on an adventure with my characters. To walk with Randi Reilly as she begins a new life in New Orleans. Cheer her in her successes and cry with her through the unknowns. Hint; there will be a few of these!
​
I hope this is the first of many journeys Randi will experience as she grows into her new home in New Orleans. I also pray you will come along on our journey and enjoy our challenges with us!
